ABOUT DOMINIC
Dominic Wheatley is a racing driver in the VERTU MINI Challenge
JCW series. Based in Hartlepool where he grew up, Dominic has
competed at a national level in motorsport starting his career
in karting, aged 11. Since then, Dominic has gone on to have
multiple class wins and was crowned British champion in the
2021 MINI Challenge Trophy.
In 2022, Dominic completed his rookie season in the MINI
Challenge JCW series with Graves Motorsport, showing great
pace for a rookie season. Dominic has since gone on to become
vice-champion in his class in 2023 securing multiple podiums
along the way. Dominic now has his sights set on further
progression to fi ght for the overall championship title in 2024.

ABOUT THE RACING
The MINI Challenge JCW series features on the TOCA package and
is a natural stepping stone to the British Touring Car Championship
(BTCC). With seven race meetings, the high-end MINI F56-based
racing cars feature uprated powertrains, aggressive bodykits,
bespoke performance parts and slick tyres to deliver the pinnacle
of one-make championship racing.
Shown live on ITV4, the MINI Challenge enjoys great grids, colourful
cars and close racing. Over the years, the series has built a solid
reputation for affordability, fairness, and fun, and benefits from
being the only racing championship to be supported by MINI UK.
In 2021, the championship agreed a new contract to feature on
the BTCC package until 2026 offering excellent marketing and
exposure opportunities for sponsors and partner companies.
